Little Miss Stickers

Who's got two thumbs and loves stickers? THIS girl!!!

Mamaw's Birthday

Who needs a fork?

Mamaw had her birthday a few weeks ago and all the Indiana grand kids got together to help her celebrate in style.

We had cake and dancing at our house. What fun! Happy Birthday, Mamaw!

Zoo in '09

We made our first trip back to the Zoo for the '09 season. Mommy thought it was going to be warm but it sure was a little chilly right at 9:00 am!

Barnett's joined us as we headed there a few weekends ago. We had lots of fun exploring the Oceans exhibit early in the morning when the crowds were nonexistent. The cold weather probably helped with that too, thanks Mommy!

As you can see, Caidey loved the penguins and I couldn't get enough of the seals.

When we came back outside from Oceans, it was a little warmer. We headed to the playground where the four of us were the only ones on it, it was great! Chloe and I chased each other up and down slides and Caidey adventured down some too.

We're so glad we have great friends who like going on expeditions with us!

Night Out (...of his bed)

As I walked upstairs to go to bed tonight, this is what I found. I love that kid!

Our Playset

Check'n everything out

So happy

Weeeee!
Did you see that?

Peek-a-boo!

On top of the world.
I'm ringing the bell. "Ding, ding!"

Looking longingly at the playset after we came inside....

It is finally here. It was about a year in the making, but our playset was installed yesterday. Mommy apologizes for so many pictures but even though it was chilly out there, Caidey and I still had so much fun playing on it for the first time. Thanks to "Uncle" Todd who took pictures to help us document it! There were just so many good pictures to choose from!

My First Haircut

Mommy and Daddy reluctantly decided that maybe it was time I got my curls in the back trimmed up just a little bit to catch up with the rest of my hair.

Who better to do the first haircut than Mamaw? I was a trooper! Oh, did I mention that Daddy had to stand in front of me with handfuls of M&M's? Well, he did and it got the job done. It only took Mamaw about 5 minutes. Mommy caught my first curls and they will be placed in my scrapbook.

Carter also needed a haircut. We just popped in "Cars" like they do at the other haircut place and he was good to go. Easy haircuts, Mommy and Daddy were pleased!

(Don't worry, I can still get my cute little sprout ponytail in. Mamaw didn't cut anything off of the top, just evened out the back!)

First Spring-Like Day!

We were playing outside on our first spring-like day of 2009 when I discovered that our toy car can be so much more fun if you tip it over and fall out of it. I called this a "car accidentally" and laughed my pants off! I kept falling over and over, but in slow motion. Daddy even caught one "car accidentally" on camera. It took him four pictures! I hope you enjoy my play by play of my "car accidentally".

(No, I haven't been in a "car accidentally" so I don't really know where I came up with the idea.)

More Jumpy Fun

Check out that hair!
Two peas in a pod.
It's swallowing me!

What else can be said? We get our energy out on semi-warm days thanks to the incubator that is our screened-in porch in the winter time and a heater. We have a BLAST in that thing!!!

My Randomness

Look! I found a "litter" of doggies when Mommy brought in the laundry! Since I'm such a little mommy, I snatched them all three up and cuddled with them before we put them away upstairs. (This Doggie is one of my "lovies" so Mommy and Daddy were smart, they bought lots so they can always just throw one in the wash and pull out another clean one.)

On a different note.....aren't I just pitiful with those eyes and lip? Just another night at the dinner table when I wasn't getting my way. When will Mommy and Daddy figure out that I am in control here?!?

Swimming!!!

I started swimming a few weeks ago. I have been learning so much! I'm trying to learn how to go all the way under the water but that scares me a little bit right now. I don't like how I can't hear when I go under. For now I'm working on blowing bubbles by putting my chin and mouth in.

Ms. Barb is also teaching me how to float. I was doing it by myself (with a floatie but without Mommy or Daddy's help!) after just three classes. I'm also learning how to "scoop and kick" when I have my floatie on, how to jump in the safe way, how to get out of the water on my own (even where I can't touch) and how to "blast off" of the wall.

Swimming is so much fun! I'm just getting ready for a great summer and great vacation at Great Wolf Lodge!

I Met Rex!

Dino Dig!

Roarrrrrr!
Side by side.

My Big Blue Eyes

I met Rex the last time we went to the Children's Museum! Mommy and Daddy are realizing that I just LOVE big animals like that! Some kids hide or run away. Nope! Not me! I run AT them and attack them with hugs, high fives, and more hugs! Carter enjoyed meeting him again too. He even posed for a picture. I was just beside myself with glee.

After the dinosaurs where we pretended to be dinos, we ran side by side to the trains. Mommy wanted to capture the quick picture to show our height difference at the time. I am almost 21 months old in this picture and Carter is 3 years and 3 months.

This was also our first trip to the Lego exhibit. We were Royalty as we sat in our thrown!

Check out Carter's happy face on the carousel and my big, blue eyes.
