Easter '09

He has risen!

Happy Easter to all! (Yeah, a little late.......)

We had a wonderful Easter. We woke up and our two empty Easter baskets were waiting at the top of the steps for us. The Easter Bunny came and hid all sorts of Easter eggs, so Mommy and Daddy had the baskets ready to go. We spent the morning doing an Easter egg hunt and seeing what goodies the Bunny left for us. He brought me a My Little Pony with rainbow hair and a princess dress. I am not much of a fan of the princess dress but Mommy and Daddy hope I will get over that quickly. (I don't know about that, I also developed a fear of the bathtub about a month ago and instead of that getting better it only seems to be getting stronger.....)

The Easter Bunny also brought Carter some dress up clothes - he got a prince cape and a knight set.

After our morning at home we headed up to Mamaw and Papaw's house. Mamaw made some birdie nest treats out of chocolate covered noodles and jelly beans. Check out how messy we got!

Carter had fun flying his kite but it was pretty windy outside. When we woke up from our nap up there, the Easter bunny had also left some treats around their house so we got to hunt around for them.
